| About Neoprobe Neoprobe Corporation is focused on developing and commercializing innovative biomedical products that meet the critical intraoperative, diagnostic and therapeutic treatment needs of patients and physicians. Our primary area of focus is in improving cancer surgery outcomes by using our market-leading gamma detection devices in combination with radiopharmaceutical agents also referred to as “tracing” or “targeting” agents. We have also recently formed another majority-owned subsidiary, Cira Biosciences, Inc., to explore the development and commercialization of an activated cellular therapy technology that has shown promising early stage patient-specific treatment potential in oncology, viral (HIV/AIDS and hepatitis) and autoimmune diseases. The Company headquartered in Dublin, Ohio, U.S.A. has established a Quality Management System (QMS) to comply with regulatory requirements prescribed by the United States Code of Federal Regulations (QSR), the Medical Device Directive (MDD) of the European Union (EU), and the Medical Device Regulations (MDR) of Health Canada and Japan. The Quality Management System established in 1998 is periodically monitored each year for continued compliance by an accredited third party organization (Notified Body).
